Quality Sources
Horrocks Nursery Farms trees are either home grown in our tree fields or hand picked from our growers. We start many of our trees from bare root, raise them, put up with their teenage years (OMG!) and then offer them to you. Some we hand pick from the best suppliers in the nation to assure the best quality. We visit our suppliers often and have worked with them for many years.
Industry Best Practices
We use a soil compost to heal in, or surround, harvested trees in our garden center. This protects the sensitive feeder roots from drying out in the summer or freezing in the winter. This is a critical horticultural practice that others often ignore, but it makes a huge difference and helps assure the trees will not be stunted in their growth habits.
